Millions of people own cars in the UK, and for most of them the interior of their vehicle looks much the same as it did when it was first manufactured. For some men and women, however, the urge to personalise their surroundings is strong, and they go to great lengths to stamp their own individuality on the area.

There are plenty of options available in stores and on the web, both off the peg and custom-made, and for an even more impressive touch, why not have them heated, and perhaps match them with a steering wheel cover?
A customised dashboard will really catch the eye, and there are a number of specialists who can supply it for you. You could go for a marbled effect to cover up all the drab black plastic, or perhaps a walnut veneer look to give it a bit of nostalgic old school sophistication.

Perhaps a new gear knob will help your car stand out from the crowd. It’s not an expensive option and it can make a genuine difference. Which type you go for will depend entirely on you, of course. Your car manufacturer’s logo, maybe, or the logo of the car you wish you could afford. Others include golf balls, football club badges, national flags and a range of materials such as wood, stainless steel or leather.
Some people like to keep everything on the down-low, but for others bling really is the thing. You can brighten up even the dullest of evenings with some strategically placed LED floor lights. They’re available in a range of colours, both bright and subdued, so use your imagination and light up the night!
You may have thought a fridge belongs only in the kitchen, but there are in-car fridges available and they can make long journeys a great deal more comfortable. Many of the models available look extremely cool, as cool as their contents, perhaps, so if you spend a lot of time in your car this could be the way forward. And of course, if you are about to take a very long road trip, it’s a good idea to have the brakes and tyres checked beforehand.
