What we look after
One garage for the lot, so you are not sent somewhere else halfway through a job.
- Cars, vans and light commercials, all makes and models
- MOT testing — class 4 for cars and small vans, class 7 for goods vehicles up to 3,500 kg
- Servicing, from interim to full, to the manufacturer’s schedule
- Diagnostics and fault finding when a warning light comes on
- Mechanical repairs — brakes, clutches, exhausts, suspension, timing belts and the rest
- Tyres, batteries and wheel alignment
- Bodywork and paint, including insurance work
- Vans and fleets on a schedule that suits the business
How we work
We find out what is actually wrong before we quote, and we quote before we start. Nothing gets done without your say-so, and if we find something else along the way you hear about it while there is still a decision to make.
You get told what we found in plain English — what it is, how urgent it is and what your options are. If something can safely wait, we will say so. If a tyre cannot be repaired safely, we will say that too, even though fitting a new one would suit us better. Advice you cannot trust is worth nothing.
MOT tests are carried out by DVSA-approved testers, and most take 45 to 60 minutes. You can wait, or drop the car off and we will ring you when it is ready. If it fails, we go through each item with you and quote for the repairs — there is no obligation to have the work done here.
Booking is either through the online diary, which shows the MOT slots actually free, or on the phone if you would rather talk it through.
Two workshops, one garage
The main workshop is at 5 Annfield Road, Dundee DD1 5JH, and that is where MOTs, servicing, diagnostics and mechanical repairs happen. It is where to come unless we have told you otherwise.
Bodywork — dents, panels, paint and insurance work — is handled by Tannadice Autobody at Hawkhill Court, Dundee DD1 4JG. Same people, same phone number, same way of working. If you are not sure which one you need, ring us and we will tell you.
We are open Monday to Saturday, 7am to 5pm, and closed on Sundays. The early start is deliberate — it suits people dropping a car off before work and trades getting a van back on the road.

We mention it because it is worth knowing who is actually behind a garage before you hand over the keys. If something is not right, there is a real business here with a name and an address, not a mobile number and a postcode.
